After building and living in Alaska for 25 years, this couple, handcrafted their ultimate dream house on Caye Caulker. Designed to maximize air flow and minimize the tropical heat, this house has high vaulted ceilings in upstairs bedrooms, ample windows and ceiling fans in all rooms.

Using the strikingly beautiful local hard woods, the interior includes hand-planed hardwood floors and custom made kitchen cupboards with decorative slumped and fused glass panels.

Whether preparing delicious meals from local fresh produce and fish, watching amazing sunsets from the roof top hammock, entertaining or just relaxing, Alta Vista welcomes you to a tropical paradise.

The home features:

• Cancellation Policy. As a guarantee of arrival I require a credit card number. You can cancel up to 21 days prior to arrival. If you have not cancelled and are unable to come I will charge 30% of the full booking amount.
