Casa Rosado – San Pedro in the Escalante subdivision of San Pedro, features three 1 bedroom apartments and a 3 bedroom, full sized top floor house. Located approx 2 short miles from the bustling tourist center on Ambergris Caye, these well appointed accommodations have much to offer to the longer term visitors to the area. Situated in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, the property is within walking distance to the beach and nearby store and restaurant. A Neighbourhood Watch program is in effect in the area which enhances security. The entire property is surrounded by a gated wall and backs onto an undeveloped greenbelt on the edge of the subdivision, giving the property a quiet, undisturbed quality. The grounds are well kept, trash is removed daily by the municipality and deliveries of soft drinks, drinking water and beer can be arranged with little trouble.
The town of San Pedro has much to offer to patrons who wish to experience living in the Tropics as opposed to just vacationing. There are many services available to take advantage of including health clubs, spas, dining and entertainment, well stocked grocery stores, doctors, dentists and pharmacies. Golf cart rentals are readily available so one could independently move about although a taxi from the village to Casa Rosado is only $7.00 BZ. ($3.50 USD)
Located on the entire top floor of the large building, this beautifully appointed 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is spacious, airy and well laid out. Perfect for a family on extended vacation or a group of friends who wish to stay in comfort for an extended period of time. Originally built for the son of the owners, this lovely living space has been meticulously maintained and is very suitable for a getaway home in the sun.
Amenities:
- Master bedroom features a large walk in closet, queen sized bed with matching side tables and large vanity dresser.
- Ensuite bathroom features double sinks and a large enclosed shower.
- The room has air conditioning and its own private balcony overlooking the grounds.
- Other bedrooms feature double beds and also are air conditioned. (The owners would be willing to adapt one of these rooms to an office space, should long term tenants wish to work from home.)
- Fully equipped kitchen with electric range & oven, full sized refrigerator and American style cabinets make cooking as easy as at home.
- A lovely hardwood picnic style table with benches provide adequate seating for diners
- The compact living room has a comfy couch & chair for relaxing in front of the telly.
- There are ceiling fans throughout the house to help keep the air moving and all windows are equipped with metal hurricane shutters to provide additional security in the event the tenants are away for a day or two.
- A stacked washer/dryer is installed in the house for the tenants use.
- Weekly housekeeping can be arranged and all linens & towels are included.
- Sorry, but a NO PET policy is in effect in the house.

We currently have three 1 bedroom apartments available for rent in the buildings. Fully furnished, with American style kitchens, these units are perfect for a single person or a couple looking for that cozy, home away from home.

NOTES
- Minimum stay is 14 nights
- Rate includes electricity, cable,drinking water and once a week housekeeping & house laundry.
- Sorry, but a NO PET policy is in effect in the house.
- Cancellation Policy. Caye Caulker Rentals requires (45) days notice of cancellation prior to arrival date. If we have not received notice or you have not arrived for your reservation, a 40% cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card (already supplied), based on the total amount of the reservation. All charges are final at time of payment and non-refundable for early departures.
- Payment is made by credit card (visa or mastercard), cash, (US or BZ), Travelers Checks with ID, on arrival.
ODDS N ENDS
Telephones:Currently, there are no landline telephones in any of the apartments or the house. Should a long term guest require that a line be installed, a negotiated agreement between the guest and Caye Caulker Rentals, the property management company, shall be reached to cover the costs of installation and the guest shall be responsible for the monthly telephone bill. It should be noted however, that the cellular coverage in San Pedro is excellent and the cost of cell use is comparable to that of landline. Belize Telephone offers many different plans to suit various users, including pay as you go.
Internet//Wi-Fi:
There is no internet or wi fi service currently available in any of the apartments or the house. Should a long term guest require that internet//wi-fi service be installed, a negotiated agreement between the guest and Caye Caulker Rentals, the property management company, shall be reached to cover the costs of installation and the guest shall be responsible for the monthly internet bill.
