Weather plays a very important role in the scheduling of diving on the reef. Should the Easterly Trade Wind set up and come onto the reef at 25 mph or more, the diving becomes too risky with the currents created. Also, the water become cloudy due to surf created agitation. This excessive wind does not happen frequently and usually lasts no more that 2 or 3 days. So please keep in mind that Mother Nature is always along for the ride and is sometimes in the driver’s seat.
